FOONG JIA HAO was born in Perai, Penang in 1996. In 2003, he received his early education in a chinese schools, named “Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Chung Hwa 3” in Penang, before pursuing and completed his secondary education at Chung Ling (Cluster) High School Butterworth, Penang in 2009. Foong was very active co-curriculum. For instance, he was the Quater Master for Board of Prefect and Discipline Master of Taekwon-do Club at his secondary school. In addition, Foong was very active in sports when he take-part in a bowling contest organized by school’s bowling club. As a result of his excellent results in SPM, Foong decided to sit for STPM examination after he completed his Form 6 in year 2014/2015 at the same school. During Form 6, he was the Chairman of the sixth form Board of Prefect, a committee member of the Counselling Club and Chairman of Sixth Form Taekwon-do Club. In 2014, he represented his  school in participating the  Penang State Taekwondo Tournament, 2014 and won a bronze medal. He also used to give speech in front of all the teachers and students. Thanks to his excellent results in STPM, communication skills and achievements in extra-curricular activities, Foong successfully entered the National University of Malaysia and took courses Speech Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences and is expected to graduate in 2020.
